This is great news for life! First Abbey Johnson quit, now Ramona Trevino quit. Thanks to both the 40 Days For Life Campaign and a bill that Governor Perry signed into law which revoked tens in millions in state taxpayer funds from Planned Parenthood, a Planned Parenthood referral facility closed about a month ago. The manager of that facility also had a conversion and resigned from Planned Parenthood. Ramona credits 40 Days for Life for her conversion.
Shawn Carney, the Campaign Director of 40 Days For Life, said “On Sunday, 40 Days for Life national director David Bereit was in Sherman for the celebration rally outside the closed Planned Parenthood office in 111-degree heat — and was joined by the center’s former manager, Ramona Trevino, who spoke to the 40 Days for Life participants.” “Her talk was amazing and media outlets from the Houston Chronicle to the Dallas Observer have since been buzzing with the news,” he said.
Members of 40 Days For Life speak first. Ramona’s talk is after that.
