In her diary, Saint Faustina described how she saw Jesus while she attended a dance. She heard Jesus ask her “How long shall I put up with you and how long will you keep putting Me off?”
Those words had me thinking…
Does God ever wonder “When are people going to wake and smell the coffee? When are they going to say Yes and follow me? When are others going to start believing in me?”
Does God ever get frustrated that people do unchristian things, sick of the immorality, get a little sad because of all the unbelievers in the world?
When wars are happening across the globe, there is widespread immorality and faithlessness could this cause Jesus’ stigmata to hurt (increase in pain), and bleed more and more due to many in the World doing things to offend Him?

Excellent post! Of course you know you have my favorite Saint here. Teresa, I think every single time we put Jesus off, sin, as you said wars, faithlessness, immorality, etc.. We hang Him right back on that Cross, and He bleeds and bleeds. I think now His blood flows from the wounds in His heart. I do not think many of us set out to do it, but it still happens. I learned this through St. Faustina’s Diary, and from examining my own conscience. There have been times in my life I have had to say, “Lord forgive me for crucifying You again.” The wonderful news is, we are forgiven. Great one Girl! Hope you are feeling better, and God Bless, SR
She is an awesome saint. Haven’t read much of her book, yet, but I have learned and enjoyed what I have read so far. Hang Jesus back on the Cross? Never thought of that. But the imagery and meaning behind what you said really makes it a reality to me and I can picture this every time we sin. SR, thank you very much for your sincere, authentic and awesome comment. Thankfully I am feeling better. Still have my bad pain and beginning to have more of my symptoms from not taking hormones but oh well. I know God will help me get through this. God Bless my friend.
I know it is rough Teresa. I hated the night sweats, the boo-hoos, just all around feeling like poop. Somehow over a period of time it gets straight. Praying for you. God Bless, SR
Thank you so much for your prayers SR. You are also in my prayers. I hope you are feeling well today. God Bless.
He’s given us free will to make the choices that please him. It continues the story of Salvation. Is that too simplistic?
I totally get that God has given us free will to good choices but I was wondering how God feels and what He may think when people make bad choices with their free will and there is much evil in the world. God Bless.
As a loving Father, it must be painful.
Yes, it must indeed be painful for Him @1Catholicsalmon. Have a wonderful weekend. God Bless.
