Teresa has been absent from this and her other blogs lately due to a surgery and hospital stay. Faithful readers of this blog and the others where she writes at may already know some of what my wife has been struggling with physically and spiritually, and I with her, and some have been waiting patiently for news. I hope this news comes as a relief to them: everything went as well as anyone could have reasonably hoped. There were no complications and no surprises. I am cutting this article a bit short because I am leaving soon to go see her at the hospital and wait for her to be discharged, and also because I would rather that Teresa make the decisions for herself about what details, if any, she would choose to make public knowledge (that is why I am being a bit cryptic even now). If it were up to me, all her medical information would be kept private, but she asked me to write this blog post. Also, I sympathize with those whose love for Teresa makes them anxious to know how she is.

Teresa is in my prayers and may God always bless yer!
Great news about no complications. Teresa’s recovery and your reasons for confidentiality are most important right now.
You are all in our prayers.
May the blessings of Our Lord and Savior be upon you.
