Thanks, Teresa. This is so inspiring and a powerful explanation of the gift of redemptive suffering.
Yes it is. In the video Jeff Cavins mentioned that he had trouble sleeping. Ironically, the night I posted this I had trouble going to sleep so I decided to search the net and came across this video. God Bless.
I remember when AB Fulton Sheen said on Life is Worth Living, as well as writing, “Hospitals are full of so much wasted suffering”. How true! To be able to unite our sufferings with our Blessed Lord’s Passion is to bring us into His Passion, in His side. Our redemptive suffering for all those we pray, now, this is truly a Godly work!
What you said is so true. Thanks for your comment. God Bless.
“Left room in His suffering, so we could join ours to His.” This was my favorite line in this video. Though I do not “like” to suffer, I will forever remember “He left room in His.” Another was, “You can share this suffering with others.” Two great lines to me! Great video and God Bless, SR
The “You can share this suffering with others” line was my favorite. I believe that means we can aid those who suffer alongside us. Hopefully we can help ease the pain of others. Maybe others help to lessen our suffering? Thank you for your comment. God Bless.
