Reblogged from Catholibertarian:
Last November my old friend Kyle Cupp published a couple of blog articles about climate change and the scientific consensus: A Question For Climate Change Skeptics at Vox Nova, and a follow-up on his own blog a day later entitled Climate Change, Consensus and Political Action. They provoked me to write this article as an answer, but it has been slow going.
There were a few glitches, but they seem to have been fixed. Thanks to Sean Melehan, political editor of Before It's News, for his patient efforts in that regard and for approaching Teresa and me with the proposal to syndicate this blog at BIN. Teresa's last post was the first Catholibertarian post to go live at Before It's News. This will be the second one. It is a re-blog from almost six months ago, and I have been wanting to write a follow-up. Next to my post on the Catholic Founding Fathers, it is my favorite post by me on this blog. When time allows I will write the follow-up -- this article made the rounds among some climate scientists, and not all of the feedback it drew was negative. One of those scientists who took notice of this article six months ago is actually mentioned at the end of this article (she probably found this article by doing a web search for references to her work). She was instrumental and getting this article the wide readership it got, and I am most grateful. More to come in the follow-up to be posted soon.
