How is standing up for religious liberty "right-wing"? Wouldn't that simply be American?

You do know that there are certain situations where you are allowed to kill another human being? Such as in self-defense or at times of war or military action? Have you heard of collateral damage? I am sorry for any loss of life as far as innocent civilians go but that is an unfortunate consequence when military action is necessary.

How does the U.S. accidentally killing innocents violate any of our citizens constitutional rights?

That is the crux of the problem with the Obama HHS mandate.

In typical right wing fashion Bishop Zubik was raising his middle finger to the President of the United States. What I find amusing about this whole brouhaha is what is lost in the shuffle. The medical coverage of millions of people that do not now have coverage. Would the Bishop prefer that we simply carry on as we now are doing? People die unnecessarily, People do not seek care, People are destroyed by lack of care.....Is that the Christian thing to do? The Catholic response?

I heard nothing during the 00's from the Catholic Bishops that stated I should refuse monies to the Government because they began killing innocent civilians in other Countries. Last time I looked at my Ten Commandments they did say "Thou shall not Kill". And what were/are we doing? Spending our tax dollars to kill innocents......is it any different?

What this really is is simply a political campaign begun by the Bishops to forward their right wing views that have been in vogue since the 80's. Thank goodness not all Catholics think like this and that there is some sanity in this world. I will pray for Bishop Zubik that he may have the forethought to see his errors and ask God for Forgivness.
